Kask's Infinity offers the best of both worlds. A simple sliding cover at the front of the helmet lets you decide if you want a more aerodynamic helmet, or a better ventilated helmet. When the cover is down the Infinity is smooth, sleek and aerodynamic, perfect for when you're racing against the clock. When the cover is up, it reveals three wide and deep vents for a refreshing cooling effect. Well engineered, the cover is easy to move including mid-ride, but sturdy enough that it stays in place once positioned. This can most certainly come in handy on longer ride when a rider wants the advantage of an aero helmet, without the risk of over-heating and fatiguing themselves too quickly.
Not sacrificing safety for speed, the Infinity benefits from Kask's Inner Frame technology, which gives their helmets a greater mechanical strength and compactness making them less likely to shatter in the event of a crash. The Infinity also has Kask's Mit technology, which puts extra layers of polycarbonate on areas of the Infinity likely to be affected by a crash for extra protection. Despite this acute attention to making sure the Infinity is suitably robust and safe, it only weighs 310g (size: medium). The weight combined with the internal padding, made from 3D dry padding and Coolmax fibre, makes for a very comfortable fit. The Octofit adjuster at the rear of the helmet, really makes sure that the rider can dial in a close and supportive fit. The chinstrap is made from eco-leather, which is animal friendly and therefore not an allergy risk, for a comfort-enhancing finishing touch. An excellent helmet by any standards, the versatility of the Infinity makes it an enticing proposition for any rider who wants a balance between speed and comfort.
