The rear hub has on oversized drive-side flange and the rear rim is deeper and asymmetric for improved durability and power transfer. To ensure perfectly balanced rotational dynamics on all of their wheels, Fulcrum look to counteract the additional weight at the joint of a rim by creating a similar weight opposite. This is achieved via use of two oversized spokes opposite the joint on Racing 7's. All Fulcrum wheels benefit from specially designed spoke and hub housings that create a solid unmovable whole, resulting in spokes that will never lose their initial tension. This keeps the wheels perfectly reactive and  centred, whilst also ensuring that the spokes will stay in aerodynamically optimal positions.
