The Racing 5's are built with high grade steel balls on sealed cylindrical bearings reducing friction and ensuring consistent performance over time. A machined aluminium braking track provides powerful and adaptable braking performance in all conditions. The Racing 5's front and rear hubs are oversized for increased stiffness and reactivity. The rear rim is asymmetric and the drive-side flange of the rear hub is oversized for improved durability and power transfer. All Fulcrum wheels benefit from specially designed spoke and hub housings that create a solid unmovable whole, meaning that the Racing 5's aerodynamic spokes will never lose their initial tension. This keeps the wheels perfectly reactive and centred, whilst also ensuring that the aero spokes will stay in aerodynamically optimal positions.
