The Gallium Pro frameset takes everything already brilliant about the Gallium frameset and makes it even better. Made from higher grade carbon that is lighter, but just as strong, the Gallium Pro Possesses phenomenal handling and acceleration, building on the foundations laid by the Gallium. A medium sized Nanotech HM7050 Carbon Gallium Pro frame weighs a mere 790g, with a 350g Ga31 fork and an 180g ASP-6550 seatpost. Totalling 1320g, it shaves 270g from the Gallium frameset. Proportionally the Gallium Pro is over a 1/6 lighter than the Gallium frameset, a huge reduction when the Gallium frameset was already so light to begin with.
Similar to the Gallium, the Pro also allocates different stiffness levels to different areas of the bike. Argon-18's Horizontal Dual System creates a frame with a stiffer and stronger lower and frontal tubing with more flexible upper and rear tubing. This means the rider can benefit from both great comfort and excellent power transfer. An oversized bottom bracket and headtube, improve power transfer even more. Superb power transfer combined with the Gallium Pro's flyweight frame makes for ferocious acceleration, ideal for climbs, with the frames light and agile nature, providing razor-sharp handling for descents.
Anyone can enjoy the Gallium Pro, a product of Argon's Fit System (AFS), it's designed to be ergonomic and comfortable for anyone who uses it. This frameset comes with a reversible ASP-6550 carbon seatpost, for those who want the option of a time-trial riding position. The headtube has Argon-18's 3D headtube system, providing enhanced stiffness and allowing a rider to adjust the height of the headtube to 3 different settings. Thus one Gallium Pro frameset can provide a range of riding positions. A riders position is extremely important to unlocking the performance potential of any bike and Argon-18 are keen to make sure the Gallium Pro's top level performance is not hindered by a poor fit. Shimano's 11 speed Ultegra groupset is light and performance driven, just like the Gallium Pro frameset. The 50-34 chainset and 11-28 cassette that comes as standard on this bike give a good range of gears equally suited to climbing and powering along flats. If you'd prefer a different arrangement of gears, we can set this bike up with other ratios upon purchase. Fulcrum's excellent Racing 3 wheels are an excellent match for the Gallium Pro frame, being lightweight, smooth and handling excellently themselves. 3T's Ergonova Pro bar is as stylish as it is functional, with 3T's ARX II Pro stem rounding out an accomplished cockpit.
